Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) -Initial $215

This course is designed primarily for healthcare professionals in emergency departments, intensive care units,  critical care departments, surgical areas, or pre-hospital environments, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.  The ACLS Provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest, symptomatic bradyarrhythmia, tachyarrhythmia, acute coronary syndrome, and acute ischemic stroke.

 

Course Length:  This class will be held over 2 consecutive days lasting approximately 5 1/2 hours each day.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) -Refresher $150

This course is designed primarily for healthcare professionals in emergency departments, intensive care units,  critical care departments, surgical areas, or pre-hospital environments, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.  The ACLS Provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest, symptomatic bradyarrhythmia, tachyarrhythmia, acute coronary syndrome, and acute ischemic stroke.


Course length -approximately 5-6.5 hours for the renewal course.

BLS for HealthCare Providers (Initial or Recert) $50

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.

It is the policy of the American Heart Association that textbooks be made available to the student before, during, and after the class.  Textbooks for this course may be purchased prior to the start of class for an additional $20 dollars.

BLS for Healthcare Providers -ANYTIME ( On-Line Course) $65

 

This BRAND NEW course from the American Heart Association has been updated to reflect new science based on the 2010 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

This Course is a 1-2 hour On-Line Course.  Upon successfull completion of the Skills Evaluation you will receive the SAME certification card you would receive if you attended this course in the classroom setting.

Students will learn single-rescuer and team basic life support for adults, children and infants through 5 interactive exercises, scenarios and a written test. Navigation controls allow students to move easily through content as they learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilation and provide early use of an AED. Course also teaches relief of choking.

This self-paced course is accessible anytime from any computer. Students can access the BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual, BLS Pocket Reference Card and more for 24 months.

This course may be used for initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course completion.

-The PALS course is designed to provide pediatric healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children and help improve outcomes.

Intended Audience

Pediatricians, emergency room personel, family, and other physicians, physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners, paramedics. respiratory therapists, and other providers required to initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.

HeartSaver First Aid with CPR & AED -combo $65

This classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in First Aid, CPR AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.  


It is the policy of the American Heart Association that textbooks be made available to the student before, during, and after the class.  Textbooks for this course may be purchased prior to the start of class for an additional $20 dollars.

 Course length: 5-7  hours

HeartSaver CPR AED (no First Aid) $50

-The course teaches the basic techniques of Adult,Child, Infant CPR, use of an AED.  Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and how to administer First Aid for choking victims. Designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Course will last approximately 3 -4 hours

It is the policy of the American Heart Association that textbooks be made available to the student before, during, and after the class.  Textbooks for this course may be purchased prior to the start of class for an additional $20 dollars.

HeartSaver First Aid (no CPR AED) $50

-The HeartSaver First Aid (does not include CPR Training) teaches general principals, medical emergencies and injury emergencies.

·First aid basics (including scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help and more)
· Medical emergencies (including actions for choking, breathing problems, shock and more)
· Injury emergencies (actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns and more)
· Environmental emergencies

Designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in Basic First Aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirement.

Course will last approximately 2-3 hours


Basic CPR, AED & First Aid -Combo (Workplace and Community) $65

-The course teaches the basic techniques of Adult,Child, Infant CPR, use of an AED.  Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and how to administer First Aid for choking victims. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of 3 major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, and choking.

-This course also teaches Adult Basic First Aid general principals, medical emergencies and injury emergencies.  (Optional Modules: Infant CPR and Choking and/or Environmental Emergencies.)

Designed for anyone with limited or nor medical training who needs a course completion card in Basic CPR, use of an AED, and Basic First Aid

Course will last approximately 4 - 5 1/2

Basic First Aid (no CPR or AED) $45
