• Foundations of Electrophysiology: Cardiac anatomy, cellular depolarization/repolarization, and the electrical conduction system.
• EKG Basics & Techniques: Proper lead placement, understanding the ECG grid (voltage/time), and systematic analysis approaches.
• Rhythm Interpretation (6-Second Strips):
  • Sinus Rhythms: Normal sinus, bradycardia, tachycardia, arrhythmia.
  • Atrial Arrhythmias: AFib, AFlutter, PACs, SVT.
  • Junctional & Ventricular Rhythms: Junctional escape, PVCs, VTach, VFib.
  • Heart Blocks: First-degree, second-degree (Mobitz I and II), and third-degree (complete) AV blocks.
• EKG Interpretation:
  • Hypertrophy & Bundle Branch Blocks: Left/Right ventricular hypertrophy and LBBB/RBBB.
  • Ischemia & Infarction: Recognizing ST-segment elevation/depression, T-wave inversion, and ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) localization.
